If RP is your thing, stick to normal RP servers. In my experience, RPPvP servers are ALL PvP and NO RP.

I just finished Van cleaf ad the dead mines missions. Got some nice loot so I re-did them like 4 times. Anyway anyone have a guild I can join I'm on Elune. My character name is Leicester.

I have to agree with the warrior changes comment above my post. Something has been utterly ruined on that class. I DO like, however, the way whirlwind animates now, it surrouns me in a "whirlwind" of little red swords, spinning to my tune of dervish

And the upcoming Silithid war. Oh...my...god. I did all those quests in orgrimmar for war prep, and I now have exalted reputation in all factions! I also got 4 blue items and 3 purples ones from those reward crates. SHIZZNIT!

I had better luck downloading the patch from Gamespot. In fact... I had the Blizz DL'er and Gamespot going at the same time, and the GS download was done before the Blizz DL'er had gotten past 10%.

I'm about to get into WoW too as I've played it before and found it quite enjoyable (I'm a PvP junkie on Guild Wars and I'm not particularly fond of the PvE, particularly with regards to repetition when making a new character) and one of the questions I'd like to ask is which classes are suited to soloing and/or farming in a small party? I've recently got my Mesmer capable of soloing (Thanks to Avarre) and while it is most certainly repetitive I've found it strangely rewarding and I'd like to be able to do something similiar in WoW, especially since it's a game more dependant on equipment than Guild Wars.

I'm definately an RPer, but not sure if I should go RP-Normal or RP-PVP. I don't want to be getting my butt kicked by the other faction every 5 minutes, but Normal seems a little too tame. Could you give me the lowdown on choosing a realm? Basically, I don't understand if being on a PVP realm means you have to PVP.

Well the manual that comes with the game has the pros and cons of the servers on it. Also check the handy website on the European (English) WoW site (comes up via clicking a link on the Launcher after patching), oit tells you in more detail.

I am extremely impressed with the new patch though. My 2h mastery is now dealing a small but noteworthy +6% damage and the Judgements are down to 8 (9 including nearly-done second) so I can cast those much easier.

I've been playing as an orc warrior for a week now and am liking it a lot (except for the sound issues I'm having). I have a question though: why can't I use a mace? The manual says that warriors can use them, but I can only use axes and swords. WTH?
(I would post this on the WoW forums but they appear to be down.)

Warriors and druids can use 2 handed maces, and both can learn to use 2 handed one's, via a weapons trainer. The weapons trainer in orgrimmar is located in the "Arms of Legend" near the black smithing area in the valley of strength.

There may be one in the hall of legends as well but I cannot recall. The weapons trainer for 2 handed weaponry for horde is located in the Undercity, in the war quarter. I have no idea about thunderbluff off hand...

It's also similar with tailoring and herbalism and first aid. I had a hell of a time locating the ARTISAN level for those professions. One of the enchanting one's is located in freaking DUNGEON. It takes some serious help you just get there, so if you dont have the money to train or the mats to make things, its a wasted trip LOL.

Some of the more 'high-end' trainers are extremely difficult to find because they offer some truly badass ups for your character. the polearms trainer for example, appears to be only in UC as fas as I can tell. I may be wrong, so if I am someone point me in the right direction.

press "k" and u will see a list of weapons u are already trained in, if u dont see 2h axes then u hav to train it. also the class that u hav chosen might not even be able to learn 2h axes.

i hav no idea where 2h axe training is in horde territory as i havent been a horde character for a very long time but i do know that hunters can learn 2h axe.
